Our Team
Keith Morris is the founder of Morris Capital Management Group of Steward Partners and is responsible for opening Steward Partners’ first office in Pennsylvania. As a wealth manager, he offers independent, objective advice with a focus on wealth accumulation and preservation. Since 1995, his goal with every client has been to develop a long-term relationship built on trust, and he believes these relationships are his most valuable assets. He holds series 7, 24, 31, and 65 licenses and represents clients from all over the country.
In 1992, Keith earned a bachelor’s degree at LaSalle University, where he was a 4-year letter winner on the men’s basketball team, a three-time NCAA tournament participant, and a one-time NIT participant. He is extremely proud of the fact that his dad was his coach, the legendary Speedy Morris. He’s also not ashamed to acknowledge that nepotism may have helped him earn a spot on the team! Later, Keith spent 19 years as his dad’s assistant coach at St. Joseph’s Prep High School in Philadelphia.
Keith has served on the Board of Inter-Community Action, a nonprofit that helps individuals with intellectual disabilities. He also served as an Advisory Board member of East River Bank. Currently, he serves on the Board of Nutritional Development Services, a nonprofit agency of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. NDS provides meals, food assistance, and additional support to organizations serving children and the poor in the Philadelphia area. Keith also serves as the Co-Chair of St. John the Baptist’s current capital campaign. Every year, he helps raise funds for numerous local and national charities such as Coaches vs. Cancer, The Parkinson’s Council, Beats for Bella, and LaSalle University basketball. In 2011, Keith was honored by the Summit Chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame for his meritorious service in the community.
Away from the office, Keith enjoys his free time with his wife Tricia, their four terrific children, Margaret, Caroline, Macie, and Matthew, and their two cats.
